About Us

 

Tom graduated from university in engineering and spent many years working in engineering and management.. On retirement he decided to develop his creative side by thinking about material and form. He had studied pottery at school and many years later has developed an interest in clay and its inherent flexibility to make a wide range of forms and styles ....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After a time teaching German in schools, Anne took up teaching German privately and developing an interest in patchwork and sewing.  She has completed a City and Guilds course in patchwork and quilting and has taught the subject many times.  Now that she has settled in Andover (she thinks!) she has broadened her skills and makes for her home, family, exhibitions and sales.

 

 

We are based in Central Andover and are open by appointment in addition to the open days and exhibitions described on the Events page.  Please make contact to visit us.  There is car parking in the road and we are only about a 5 minute walk from the town centre.  Please EMail info@cottonandclay.co.uk
